t's
a shocking fact that many of our beautiful National and State Parks
and Recreational Areas are suffering from the same traffic congestion
and air pollution as our cities. If we are to preserve these unique
irreplaceable wildlands for ourselves and generations to follow we must
be wise in how we treat them–they are often in danger of being "loved
to death." Through informed cooperative effort, we can minimize our
negative impact on the recreational areas and enjoy them more.
